We have a current opportunity for a Sales Associate I at our Menomonee Falls facility.

Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Sales & Marketing Strategy Manager, the Sales Associate I supports the growth and development of the Eutectics Private Label and US Forge product lines through customer account support, sales opportunity development, and commercial activities.  The position works closely with customers and internal departments to provide product information, prepare quotations, process inquiries, and support revenue-generating activities.

The Sales Associate I develops customer relationships, identifies and qualifies potential business opportunities, maintains sales activity within CRM and ERP systems, and supports pipeline management and forecasting efforts. The role assists with customer retention initiatives, provides product and application information, and contributes to achieving sales and gross margin objectives.  This position operates in a support capacity while developing sales expertise, product knowledge, and customer-facing skills across both product portfolios.

What You'll Do:

•  Assist in maintaining and growing customer accounts for Eutectics Private Label and US Forge products. 

•  Respond to customer inquiries and provide product, pricing, and availability information. 

•  Develop and maintain positive working relationships with customers, prospects, and channel partners. 

•  Identify and qualify sales opportunities through prospecting, lead follow-up, and customer engagement activities. 

•  Prepare and follow up on quotations in accordance with established pricing guidelines. 

•  Support new business development efforts and customer retention initiatives. 

•  Maintain accurate customer records, opportunities, and sales activities within CRM systems. 

•  Utilize ERP systems to review inventory, pricing, customer history, and order status information. 

•  Assist with sales forecasts, pipeline reviews, and opportunity tracking. 

•  Coordinate with Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Technical teams to support customer requirements. 

•  Deliver product presentations, demonstrations, and sales proposals as needed. 

•  Develop knowledge of Private Label and US Forge products, applications, industry trends, and competitive offerings. 

•  Participate in customer visits, trade shows, training events, and business development activities as assigned. 

•  Follow established sales processes and contribute to achieving sales and profitability objectives.

Job requirements

What You'll Bring:

•    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Engineering, or a related field preferred.

•    0-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, account support, business development, marketing, or a related field.

•    Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build customer relationships.

•    Ability to learn and communicate technical product information and applications.

•    Demonstrated interest in sales, prospecting, customer development, and business growth.

•    Ability to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.

•    Experience preparing quotations, proposals, presentations, or customer communications preferred.

•    Experience using Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with CRM and ERP systems preferred.

•    Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow up on customer opportunities.

•    Basic analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to review customer purchasing history, pricing, and sales activity.

•    Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams including customer service, operations, supply chain, production, technical support, and marketing.

•    Willingness to travel for customer visits, training, trade shows, and company meetings as required.

•    Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications 

•    Experience in industrial manufacturing, welding, metalworking, or related industries.

•    Exposure to B2B sales, inside sales, customer service, or sales support functions.

•    Familiarity with welding consumables, industrial maintenance and repair products, or related technical products.

•    Knowledge of CRM platforms and sales pipeline management.

•    Experience supporting customer quotations, order management, or account administration.
