  • Deploys a Best practice (Model Plant) process across Global Castolin Eutectic sites for a 5 steps process (data gathering, demand, supply, financial reconciliation and SLT).
  • Supports the facilitation of the sales and operation review with the consideration of demand and inventory
  • Works with and influences the regional/plant leadership team to manage & facilitate the decision to acquire internal/external capacity to balance demand & supply
  • Work with Sales, PLM s, Demand Managers and Commercial Managers in the areas of demand forecasting, capacity planning, and setting inventory levels to ensure a realistic and achievable plan
  • Facilitates cross functional activities to resolve demand and capacity imbalances before the operations are impacted and presents potential solutions during the S&OP meeting for approval
  • Conducts and presents 'what if' scenarios to analyze the impact of taking on additional demand before customer commitments are made
  • Creates a stronger focus on Sales, Inventory and Operational Planning (S&OP) with emphasis on long-term demand planning within customer services. Support implementation of the front-end S&OP processes, and adoption of new tools, at all Castolin Eutectic site
  • Ensures that the S&OP process is aligned with existing processes
  • Support the implementation and deployment of IT solutions to enhance the S&OP process efficiency
  • Ensure that the S&OP plan is converted into sales volumes and drives the financial forecast and that the S&OP plan is loaded timely into all site ERP systems to drive the MPS
  • Support the deployment of standard material planning & replenishment processes across the plant & supply chain to enable improved input to the S&OP process
  • Be responsible for administration and managing roles in Advanced Planning System and ensure the system is run in the most efficient way (i.e. support and updates)

Job requirements

  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration
  • 3 years’ experience in S&OP management functions
  • English fluent – German is an advantage
  • Willing to travel
  • Location: Kriftel, Germany
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate findings into actionable insights
  • ERP and advanced planning system user are a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and expert in stakeholder management on all organizational levels
