Castolin Eutectic Ireland Limited is part of the Castolin Eutectic group with headquarters in Kriftel, Germany.
Our Culture:
Castolin Eutectic Ireland Limited operates a manufacturing plant, producing welding and coating consumables for the industrial, OEM and maintenance & repair markets. Our products are used worldwide to protect metals from damage and wear and to extend the useful life of industrial machinery. We have been manufacturing in Ireland for almost 60 years. We’re based in a purpose built facility in Magna Business Park, Citywest, Dublin 24 with an average of 80 employees on site. Castolin Eutectic Ireland works in conjunction with SIPTU on Employee/Industrial relations issues.
- People management and HR planning
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and Data Privacy in focal point and other statutory requirements
- Ensure that all communication with employees & group management are conducted in line with best practice
- Provide an oversight on training & development of employees
- Actively participate in handling all conflicts, disputes, disciplinary action and terminations
- Support the line Management in handling all attendance, sickness and absence related issues
- Provide HR Support in all business activity to support the commercial development of Castolin Eutectic Ireland
- Support all Managers in preparing for & where applicable attend relevant KPI performance meetings
- Run and manage HR KPIs, internally, and report to Corporate HQ as required
- Understand HR related P&L Enablers and drivers to support in relevant HR areas
- Managing recruitment for all roles within the organization (from CVs, interviews, arrange medicals/reference checks to contracts)
Issuing all contracts of employment and amendments to contracts as necessary - Act as the side of compliance manager
- Report to the Managing Director of Ireland
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration specialized in HR or any similar role
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working in similar HR type role
- Familiarity with relevant Irish legislation and the Irish industrial relations environment
- Ambition to work and develop your career
- A strong work ethic and a willingness to succeed and learn
- The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally to all levels of business
- Full knowledge and capability of using the full Microsoft suite.
- The ability to deal with people and address conflicts when required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Functional/Technical knowledge about the basics of labor law, social insurance systems, employers obligations, collaboration and co-determination rights/labor relations. User experience in applying HRIS/HCM, such as MS D365-HR, SAP HR, Workday or PeopleSoft,
