Our services division on the northwest side of Milwaukee has a technical opening for a Drafter/ Estimator. This division focuses on applying applications expertise to fabricate wear resistant parts through different welding processes used within a wide spectrum of industries.

In this role, you’ll:

• Create production drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor for shop fabrications
• Import drawings to Plasma Cutting machine for production
• Maintain Inventory levels of materials used in the cutting process using cutting software
• Have a working knowledge of Plasma Cutting machines and software
• Produce cost estimates and provide quotes to customers
• Communicate with customers and the sales team regarding project requirements
• Make revisions based on customer requirements
• Communicate and work with Shop employees regarding orders and projects
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Ideal Experience:

• Successful completion of a CAD drafting program
• Knowledge of cutting nesting programs (plasma, laser, water jet, etc)
• 2 years of drafting experience preferred
• Experience in cost estimation in Bill of Materials a plus
• Attention to detail
