Castolin Eutectic offers maintenance, surface protection and special joining using welding, brazing and coating technologies in different industry sectors, such as oil & gas, steel, chemical, waste & recycling, pulp & paper, glass, power generation, agriculture and mining.

With over 1.600 employees the company operates globally. Castolin Eutectics generates over € 300 m sales, approx. 50% of that within Europe.

The firm was recently sold from Messer Group to Paragon Partners. With the carve out a new management structure will be established.

As Business Partner Corporate Controlling (m/f/d) you will be part of an enterprise-wide transformation program in a very dynamic (PE-driven) environment, with the overall mission to establish a high-quality Controlling function with all necessary tools & processes to be an insightful, value-add business partner.

  • Take central ownership for the further development of high-quality management reporting and planning processes for Castolin Group
  • Develop & implement new steering concepts and perform regular variance analyses to provide real insights into underlying business drivers
  • Develop Business Partner Role for Corporate Functions (Corporate FP&A, IT, Projects, P2A for Castolin Group).
  • Prepare reporting outputs, decision documents & ad-hoc analyses for (senior) management
  • Prepare financial models & business cases to support planning & decision making
  • Participate in / or lead controlling related initiatives to drive the future state of the Controlling organization



Job requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Finance & Controlling, preferably in a highly dynamic environment (Consulting background welcome)
  • Fluent in English and German
  • Structured approach & strong analytical skillset
  • Solid understanding of core Finance & Controlling processes
  • Highly motivated team player with the ability to get things done
  • Experience in multinational matrix-organization and dealing with a diverse stakeholder group
  • Bachelor/Master degree within the area of Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a similar area
  • Prior experience (or at least strong desire) to work with analytics tools such as PowerBI
  • High Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint
